Brightside will launch its online van product on price comparison site Compare the Market tomorrow (6 July).
The broking group’s van proposition director Neil Laird said the company is expecting to sign deals with other major price comparison sites “during the next few months”.
Brightside launched its online van proposition at the end of April this year.
Laird said the move was the next step in the longer-term aim of capturing 10% of the UK van market.
He added: “As our key volume play in the van space, Compare the Market and other major aggregators are a natural home for our latest van product. We’re delighted to have signed this agreement.”
“We’re confident our presence on CTM will further boost our existing panel of insurers, and we’re committed to enhancing our van proposition through the generation of new initiatives with strategic partners such as the RAC, Close Brothers (for financing) and other ancillaries providers.”
The launch of the online van product on aggregators closely follows Brightside’s loss of a commercial vehicle insurance deal with the Co-op to rival broker Miles Smith.
