Bollington is set launch its wholesale division next month, providing brokers with access to a range of specialist schemes.
The division will offer products in the motor trade and charity and care sectors, in addition to leisure, tradesmen and property owners' schemes.
It will operate under the new FM Green Wholesale banner, and will be headed by Richard Trinder.
Bollington acquired motor trade schemes broker FM Green last November.
At the time, Bollington said the acquisition would help it to extend its schemes and affinity business.
Paul Moors, Bollington chief executive, said the wholesale division would look to build up a panel of 300 specialist sub-brokers.
This, he said, would come from a selection of FM Green's current panel of brokers and other brokers "who specialise in the niche areas that FM Green is looking to develop".
FM Green, which Bollington acquired last November, currently has a panel of 300 brokers. Moors said he expected to cut this down to 100.
Moors said: "FM Green Wholesale will offer exclusive products with the widest possible cover."
