New Bollington MGA Anjuna to provide commercial motor cover
Broking group Bollington has launched a new commercial motor managing general agency (MGA) called Anjuna Underwriting.
Capacity for the new Bollington MGA will be provided by Danish insurer Gefion, which has agreed to write £80m of business over five years.
Anjuna will provide cover fox taxi (single vehicle and fleet), courier (single vehicle and fleet), self drive hire (daily and annual), goods in transit and motor trade.
Bollington said that it is looking to add more products to Anjuna “in the near future”, including mini-fleet and light haulage.
The new MGA’s products will be distributed through Bollington’s existing wholesale network using an online quote-and-buy facility, which also includes account servicing and document uploads.
The offering is supported by a dedicated claims management team, Bollington said.
The launch of Anjuna closely follows rival broker Brightside’s announcement of a new MGA, called Kitsune, which will write car and van business and launch in the second quarter next year.
Bollington group managing director Chris Patterson said: “The new offering through Anjuna provides great new products with a wider underwriting footprint, delivering additional capacity in challenging sectors for brokers. The new products will sit alongside those from our existing panel of A-rated insurers, ensuring a broad offering for brokers and consumers alike.”
