Phil Jee joins as corporate account manager
Former rugby player Phil Jee has joined Bollington Insurance Brokers as a corporate account manager.
Jee scored more than 1,000 points for Sale between 1982 and 1996, during which time he played in every position in the back line. He then spent five years at Manchester Rugby Club as a player and coach.
He began working in the insurance industry in 1980 as an account handling for Bowring Scholfield and has since held senior sales and business develop roles at a number of brokers.
Jee said: “I’m delighted to be joining Bollington at an exciting time for the business. I like its culture and forward-thinking outlook, and I look forward to helping it to continue its recent growth by winning new business while also looking after key corporate accounts across a range of sectors, including property, manufacturing and recruitment.”
Bollington chief executive Paul Moors said: “Phil is the latest in a line of key appointments during 2014 as we look to continue the progress we have made since the management buyout of the business in 2013.”
