Ian Story replacement drafted in by Bluefin
Bluefin Insurance Group has appointed Robert Organ as its new chief financial officer, Insurance Times can reveal.
Organ replaces Ian Story who is stepping down in April.
Organ has 20 years’ financial services experience as a chartered accountant. He spent 12 years at PwC in the UK and Australia.
He subsequently joined the distribution business of Australian wealth management firm AMP, in an executive chief financial officer role.
Organ returned to the UK in 2007 to be group finance & operations director for AWD Chase De Vere which is the UK operation of AWD, Europe's largest IFA.

Bluefin chief executive Stuart Reid said: "We are delighted to appoint a person of Rob’s calibre to continue the excellent work of his predecessor, Ian Story, and I’m confident that his knowledge, skills and experience will be of great benefit to the group."
Organ is set to join Bluefin on 21 March and will be based in London. His appointment is subject as usual to FSA approval.
