Network signs up 50th member
Bluefin Insurance Services has rebranded its network, Layton Blackham Business Solutions (LBBS), as Broker Partnership Services (BPS).
The rebrand comes as the network reaches a 50 network members nationwide. The network now combines 50 partners and 21 start ups with 4 new partners signed in 2009.
David Hopwood, managing director at BPS said: “We are delighted to have reached this significant milestone in our number of partners in the network which has coincided with this exciting time as we rebrand under the Bluefin brand.
"Our partnership programme is carefully targeted at the highest quality independent brokers in our market and is designed to significantly increase income and capital value for those brokers that join our network. This year alone four new partners have joined us, and our growth over the past few years reflects the fact that we have been very successful in adding significant value to our network member businesses.”
The Bluefin brand, officially launched in January 2009, combines the established businesses of Venture Preference (incorporating Stuart Alexander, Smart & Cook, Layton Blackham, The Davis Group and SBJ UK) with the advisory businesses of Thinc, PIFC, EB Consultants, Orbit Benefits and SBJ Benefit Consultants.
Stuart Reid, chief executive of Bluefin Insurance Services Limited said: “We are delighted that LBBS has now officially rebranded under the Bluefin umbrella offering Broker Partnership Services (BPS).
"Our decision to operate under a single, unified brand rather than as a collection of separately branded companies reflects our growth ambitions for Bluefin as a whole and the network plays a pivotal role in the development of our service offering. We will continue to work closely together to expand the network and consolidate our position as a major nationwide insurance broker.”
