Bluefin Insurance Services is opening a new branch of its professions operation in Cardiff.
Mark Westgarth, managing director of professions said: “As we continue to grow we are careful not to forget that our fundamental principle is to provide the best possible service to our clients at the highest possible quality.
"Wales is often neglected by other insurance brokers but has a substantial number of professional firms - all of whom would benefit from local representation and personal service.
"We are pleased therefore to announce the opening of our Welsh office and the appointment of a new account manager, Cefyn James.”
Meanwhile, Bluefin has also appointed Stephen Ball as new business director for Scotland.
Ball has joined from Willis and previously held senior roles at Aon and Marsh.
Bluefin's head of corporate, Howard Fryer, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stephen to lead our new business team in Scotland.
"His knowledge, experience and proven track record mark him out as a great catch for the organisation and I look forward to working with him to grow our business north of the border.”
