Biba said it has extended its range of schemes and business portfolios with the addition of a motor insurance scheme from the AA.
The new scheme, called Biba-AA Motor, includes a freephone number to a dedicated Biba team. It said it would give brokers a one-off introductory payment, with the AA handling the administration.
Biba said the scheme would offer its member’s clients were guaranteed a replacement car following a claim, until their vehicle was replaced or repaired. AA policies also provide free cover for up to 90 days travel abroad.
Biba’s technical services officer, Graeme Trudgill, said: “A large number of BIBA members are specialist brokers who provide commercial or other bespoke insurance packages.
“Until now they haven’t necessarily had immediate access to competitive private car insurance. That has been put right with AA Insurance Services joining the BIBA scheme portfolio.
