MGA’s new office will write liability products for London market brokers
Broker-only MGA Manchester Underwriting Management (MUM) is entering the international market by setting up a new London office on Lime Street.
The new division will be writing professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’, management liability, crime and product recall business for London market brokers.
The division will be headed by David Eynon, who will join the company board subject to regulatory approval. David has over 25 years’ experience in financial lines, holding senior roles with major London market insurers.
Joining Eynon will be Andrew Farr as head of management liability and Rob McKay as head of professional indemnity – London. The division will report to chief executive Charles Manchester.
Manchester said in a statement: “Our plan is to be the leading specialty lines market MGA, focused on areas where we can make a difference.
“The business structure of MUM allows us to move quickly. I’ve known David for over 20 years; he and his team bring a wealth of experience in the international financial lines market, and their drive and enthusiasm will take us forward in this exciting area of insurance.”
