10,000 untis to be uploaded in first year
Bluecycle, the online autosalvage specialist, has signed a deal with ACM ULR, BGL's claims division.
As part of the deal, Bluecycle will be responsible for the final phase in the claims management process through the sale of all total loss vehicles when the driver is determined to be not at fault.
The first auctions are expected to be complete by mid-January. 10,000 units are expected to be uploaded within the first year of the deal.
Rex Oakman, Bluecycle’s national sales manager, said: "We are extremely pleased to be working with the BGL Group, its partners and its customers, and this deal reinforces our strong position in the salvage marketplace.
"We are keen to raise awareness that we are open for business to anyone who has salvage vehicles to dispose of, whether they are insurers, self-insured fleets, car rental companies or accident management companies."
Bob Perry, managing director of ACM ULR, added: "Our objective is to provide a high quality end-to-end service for customers making claims. All our partnerships with suppliers are designed to take the stress out of the process by being as efficient as possible.
"Bluecycle leads the way in using the internet to simplify motor salvage, and will help us achieve our aims to provide the best possible experience to please both the customer and our partners."
