?Specialist insurance rest-oration company Belfor-Relectronic was this week called in to work on the fire-damaged Cutty Sark by a subcontractor working for insurer Royal & SunAlliance.
It will remove charred wooden decks and lead-based paint from the metal framework of the hull.
Belfor managing director Greg French said: “The job required specialist cleaning techniques and a high level of health and safety.”
Fire ravaged the ship in May.
