Broker also nabs Aon boss Gloyn
JLT has sealed a major contract after being appointed the broker for BAA Airports new £6bn construction facility for a minimum period of five years.
BAA has extensive plans for expansion and redevelopment, and is investing £6bn on improving facilities across its UK airports (excluding Gatwick).
BAA will spend £4bn on transforming Heathrow where Terminals 3 and 4 are being extensively renovated, while Terminals 1 and 2 are to be replaced by the brand new Terminal 2A.
Meanwhile, JLT has appointed industry heavyweight Bill Gloyn to its real estate team. Gloyn was formerly chairman, real estate Europe within Aon mergers & acquisitions group.
