AXA Assistance will be offered to all broker’s motor customers
AXA Assistance has replaced RAC as the breakdown cover provider for Autonet’s van, car and motorbike customers.
Autonet has around 250,000 policyholders. Between 15% and 20% of policyholders take out breakdown cover with the broker, and Autonet said it expected this proportion to grow.
Autonet head of trading Tom Doyle said AXA Assistance’s product was a “much richer offering” with higher service level agreements on call out response times and vehicle recovery.
AXA Assistance sales director Jason Sparrow said: “We are thrilled to announce this new partnership with Autonet and we believe our ability to offer comparable service levels to well-established consumer brand names in the motor breakdown sector, was absolutely key to our success.”
Autonet managing director Ian Donaldson said “Breakdown services are a key area of growth for us, and we believe that AXA Assistance is a truly like-minded organisation who will enable us to meet our sales ambitions by providing these services to our clients.
