AXA aims for top three in personal lines

AXA personal lines chief executive Steve Hardy has spelled out his ambitions to turn the company into a top-three player.

In an exclusive interview with Insurance Times, Hardy reveals his part in founding Swiftcover and then its subsequent acquisition by AXA.

“To succeed in UK personal lines market, you have to be low-cost," he said. "That is a given in today’s environment where everything is cost driven."
