New chief operating officer and pricing officer appointed from within group
AXA UK has hired two executives to newly created positions within its non-life direct and partnerships unit.
Carlo Nebuloni (pictured above left) has been named chief operating officer of the division, while Henry de Courtois has become AXA UK’s new pricing and claims officer.
Both appointments are internal to the AXA group. Nebuloni joins the UK business from AXA’s Italian direct insurance business, Quixa, where he was also chief operating officer.
De Courtois was previously chief technical and claims officer with AXA Global Direct in France.
Nebuloni and De Courtois will report to UK direct and partnerships chief executive Yves Masson and join the company’s executive committee.
Masson said: “Having worked closely with them both before, I am delighted that Carlo and Henry have decided to join me here in the UK. They boast a strong track record of success across a range of areas and have a vital role to play as we continue to build a profitable, customer-centric direct and corporate partnerships business.”
AXA UK’s direct and partnerships division specialises in selling motor, home and travel insurance directly to customers and through corporate partnerships. It includes direct insurance brand Swiftcover.
Direct and partnerships is one of two main divisions of AXA’s UK non-life business. The other is commercial lines and personal intermediary, run by Amanda Blanc.
