Aviva transfers 80 claims staff to G4S Cotswold Group

Aviva has transferred 80 claims staff to investigation firm G4S Cotswold Group, who will also carry out all bodily injury claims investigations for the insurer.

The move took place on 1 January.

G4S Cotswold Group will soon rebrand to G4S Investigation Services.

Aviva motor and liability claims director Rob Townend said: “The Cotswold Group has been an investigation supplier to Aviva for a number of years and is an organisation well known to us.  

“This change will enable us to move to a more flexible approach, which will allow us to vary resource depending on the level of claims investigations at any given time. We are very pleased to continue our relationship with G4S Cotswold Group.”
