Alun Sweeney takes over commercial responsiblity for UK and Ireland.
Atradius has appointed Alun Sweeney as the new commercial head of the UK and Ireland business.
His new role will include responsibility for all Atradius commercial activities in the UK and Ireland from November 1.
Sweeney has over a decade’s experience in the credit insurance industry.
He returns to the UK after five years based in Hong Kong running Atradius global new markets proposition, heading up the Atradius business in the United Arab Emirates, India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
Sweeney was also responsible for developing strategic partnerships in other Asia Pacific countries.
Before his move to Asia, Sweeny was as the head of Atradius UK’s Global Unit, which he joined in 1998, following over 10 years with the Norwich Union Group.
