Panel sought to support after-the-event schemes
Bristol-based legal expenses provider Arag has secured a strategic tie-up with ATE to broaden its penetration into the after-the-event legal expenses market.
The deal sees ATE gain underwriting for its general litigation and personal injury after-the-event schemes, Litigation Plus and Personal Injury Plus, via Arag. The firm is looking for new panel firms to support the schemes.
ATE, established in 2001, has in the last six years developed key relationships with a wide network of solicitors in the after-the-event market.
Arag business development and marketing director Paul Hurley said: “ATE is dedicated to providing solutions to solicitors for both personal injury and general litigation cases.
"As such it has an established network of lawyers so, as Arag works to promote both personal injury and non-personal injury after-the-event cases, it is an ideal partner to help achieve this.”
Grant Cumbley, director of ATE, commented: “This alliance with Arag will enable both parties to offer a compelling proposition to the after-the-event market, particularly with non-personal injury such as contract cases.”
