Assurant Solutions UK has signed a six-year deal with D&D Homecare to underwrite D&D's mortgage and income protection products.
The agreement covers 56 insurance products, including 48 mortgage protection solutions and eight income protection solutions, said Assurant.
“This new agreement allows both companies to improve market share by developing both the cover offered and the distribution and marketing of the product itself,” said Daniel le Fleming, Assurant Solutions UK managing director.
“We look forward to growing the current book through the long-term partnership of Assurant Solutions' integrated risk management expertise and customized technology capabilities with D&D Homecare's unique distribution channel.”
Assurant Solutions companies Bankers Life Assurance Company Ltd and Bankers Insurance Company Ltd underwrite these products.
