Appointment comes with the evolution of the specialist insurer's products.
Assurant Solutions, a global provider of specialised insurance and insurance-related products, has appointed George Bartlett as a non-executive director to the board of its UK operation. Bartlett will also sit on the European Compliance Committee and the Audit Committee.
Bartlett has worked as a company director for over 20 years. In his most recent in-house role, He was group company secretary of ASW Holdings, a UK-listed company with manufacturing operations in six European companies, serving on the board of all of its main subsidiary companies.
Since 2002, he has beena consultant for a variety of companies including the Financial Services Authority where he supported the company secretary in a wide range of functions and the Institute of directors where he trained over 1000 directors in their roles, responsibilities, liabilities and good corporate governance.
