The commercial lines underwriter has widened its online trading product range for independent brokers
Arista has increased its range of instant cover package products available to independent UK brokers via its online trading platform.
From this week brokers will be able to access five auto-rated online products which provide instant specialist cover for commercial vehicles, retail, office, property owners and trade & professionals products. Designed specifically for the web, Arista says the question sets are as short as possible to reduce broker input time.
Arista’s online trading platform was rolled out to all independent UK insurance brokers, subject to acceptance criteria, in April. It gives brokers access to instant commercial quotes with the ability to review and amend if required.
Charles Earle, CEO, said: “Arista’s online trading platform has already become a great hit with independent brokers across the UK, but they wanted access to a wider product range. By adding products covering commercial vehicles, retail and office they can now write most of the key commercial packages instantly and without having to fill in long proposal forms. Brokers are rightly looking for ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs, but at the same time they do not want underwriters to provider a weakened service. By offering brokers both full agency access and the alternative of an online system Arista can provide brokers with whichever route to market suits their business model and client base.”
