Arthur Rackstraw appointed COO and David Germaine recruited as MD of IT Solutions GB
Aquilo has reshuffled its management structure.
Chris Langridge joined Aquilo as finance director in the latter part of 2006. Arthur Rackstraw has now been appointed as chief operating officer and will assume full responsibility for all Aquilo’s operations. He will also continue to run Aquilo Inspection & Reinstatement Services (AIRS). In addition, David Germaine has been recruited as managing director of the recently acquired computer hardware and software solutions company, IT Solutions GB.
Clive Nicholls, chief executive said: “I have previously worked closely with Arthur and David and am delighted that we have been reunited as a team. Together with Chris, we have new added depth in commercial and managerial experience. Both Aquilo’s existing businesses and IT Solutions as part of the Group have a bright future. Our goal is to continue to grow our customer base through a complete focus on our customers’ needs and the development of new products; AIRS continues to prove to our clients an ability to deliver cost containment with great customer service and is growing rapidly.”
Nicholls added: “As the new Managing Director of IT Solutions David brings with him a wealth of management and sales experience which will enable us to focus on driving the business forward and achieving increased sales volumes from both existing and new customers.”
Germaine has 15 years of experience with both GAB Robins and Prudential during which time he held senior sales and marketing roles. Prior to Prudential, he was a marketing manager at Nestle UK.
David Germaine said: “I am excited to be joining IT Solutions and my priority will be to promote the full range of services that IT Solutions can deliver including price validation, repair and replacement, fraud detection, loan equipment, installation and salvage. Our desire is to ensure that all insurance claims involving computers and home entertainment equipment not only deliver policyholder satisfaction but minimise cost.”
Chris Langridge, Arthur Rackstraw and David Germaine will report directly to Clive Nicholls, chief executive.
