End client can view documents and register claims
Applied Systems is launching a white label portal that brokers can use to allow its customers to ask for mid-term adjustments and claims, as well as seeing all their policy documentation in one place.
The software, CSR24, is widely used by Applied’s broker customers in its USA and Canadian markets. It is the first time Applied has launched a new product in the UK since it bought Insurecom last year.
Applied recently updated its commercial lines platform to allow customers to view their document and manage their policies on a single site, branded by the broker, from a computer or mobile device.
Jeff Purdy, senior vice president of international operations, said: “We’re trying to ensure the broker is relevant throughout the course of the policy lifecycle and not just at purchase or renewal.”
Purdy said brokers in North America were more likely to offer broker-branded self service to clients as part of their after sales support.
“We’re trying to broaden broker’s role at a time when it’s easy for the broker to get lost in a pure buy online environment,” he said.
