Broker appoints eight new area directors
Aon Corporate has appointed eight new area directors as part of a shake-up of its UK operation, as predicted by Insurance Times earlier this month: Aon cuts directors as regional structure gets overhaul.
The broker said the appointments are part of a change in its regional structure designed to bring decision making and resources closer to clients.
The new area directors are:
- Lisa Bartlett - Birmingham, Leicester & Bristol
- Chris Bilney - London
- Richard Broekhuizen - Broxbourne & Chelmsford
- Graeme Cant - Edinburgh, Aberdeen & Newcastle
- Jon Cooper - Redhill
- Murray Cromar - Glasgow
- Chris Dale - Leeds & Sheffield
- Jane Kielty - Manchester
A further announcement on a director for the south of England, incorporating Aon’s Reading and Southampton offices, is expected soon.
Jim Herbert, managing director of Aon Corporate said: “Our clients have told us they want more localised delivery. So we are bringing our people closer to our clients, with teams locally managed by these new area directors. The focus will be delivering local client service, whilst harnessing Aon's global strength, leverage and resources.
“It is very satisfying that we have been able to fill these new roles from the depth of talent we have in Aon Corporate.”
