Grant Foster will replace David Crofts as managing director of the Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC UK) team in the UK
The global risk management business of Aon has made changes to the senior leadership team within its consulting practice.
Former director of Enterprise Risk Management, Grant Foster, has been appointed as managing director of the Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC UK) team in the UK.
Foster replaces David Crofts who is now heading up a global division comprising both consulting and solutions led support to Aon’s global clients.
Eddie McLaughlin will join Aon’s global risk consulting team as chief commercial officer for the European Middle East and Africa region.
Aon said Crofts’ new role would enable the broker to provide both consulting and transactional advice to clients with sophisticated risk portfolios, while the appointments will reinforce Aon’s strategy of enhancing its broking services by offering a consultative and data-led approach for clients.
AGRC group managing director Markus Mende said: “Mclaughlin was previously with Marsh where he managed their risk consulting operations in EMEA and provided strategic direction for key client accounts.
“He brings with him a wealth of experience across the whole spectrum of risk consulting for clients across the globe.
“Our consulting arm is further strengthened by the promotion of Grant Foster to managing director. Both of these appointments will enable us to deliver increased value and strategic consulting advice for our clients.”
