Joint venture will create commercial real estate insurance capability
Jones Lang LaSalle and Aon have concluded a joint venture agreement to establish a new Commercial Real Estate Insurance Services capability.
This initiative will enable clients of both companies access to a wide range of insurance services, delivered via Aon’s insurance platform in conjunction with Jones Lang LaSalle’s real estate expertise.
Richard Angliss, Head of Management Services at Jones Lang LaSalle said: “There is a strong and complementary commitment at Jones Lang LaSalle and Aon to the highest standards of client advice and service. By combining real estate expertise from Jones Lang LaSalle with the Aon insurance platform, the joint venture will be able to provide seamless service and innovative solutions to clients. We have entered into an open-ended agreement with Aon, building on existing business relationships, to demonstrate our continued commitment to providing insurance services."
The new agreement will combine the existing real estate insurance teams from both companies and features a leadership team drawn from both organisations. Stuart Ridgeon, Jones Lang LaSalle's Acting Head of Insurance Services, and his team will transfer to Aon to join Audrey Weir’s specialist real estate team at Aon.
"The new team will also be strengthened by the addition of Tim Scoble, previously with Willis and well respected in the market for his experience in the Real Estate sector. He has been recruited as a Business Development Director, underlining both Firms’ commitment to growth in this exciting venture, " added Angliss.

The new venture will commence operations with effect from 1st January 2008 with the team based at Aon’s offices in Devonshire Square.
