ANV's MGU secures capacity deal with PartnerRe

PartnerRe Wholesale has entered into a three-year agreement with ANV Global Services, the international managing general underwriter (MGU) of insurer ANV Holdings BV, to provide specialist SME policies in professional and financial lines.

Under the terms of the deal PartnerRe will provide capacity for a number of products, including, directors and officers (D&O) commercial, financial institutions D&O, professional indemnity (PI), financial institutions PI and pension offerings.

PartnerRe Wholesale will also provide ANV with support in IT services, marketing and claims management through the division’s BindingAuthority+Plus offering.

ANV MGU managing director Debra McClenahan said: “ANV sees a significant opportunity in both the large corporate and SME spaces. We have made very good progress in growing our financial lines business in the past year, building out our European team led by Dennis Gattinger and broadening our product offering to brokers and clients.

“By working with PartnerRe Wholesale, we will gain the necessary support and skills to expand further into European markets with the most potential.”
