SME insurance underwriting agency Anglo Pacific Consultants (APC) has secured £20m in underwriting capacity for its 2007 book of business. Catlin again provides 100% of the liability capacity, and property capacity is provided by Lloyd's of London, and led by Heritage, Brit and Kiln underwriting syndicates.

APC has also appointed Christopher Linnane to the role of senior underwriter. Linnane joins from Jardine Lloyd Thompson and will be responsible for broker relations and business development.

APC's managing director Brian Russell said: “These continued relationships with some of Lloyd's of London's strongest underwriters are a great endorsement for us. We are all companies committed to the use of high quality IT systems, excellent customer service and proactive claims management. Moreover, Chris's appointment reinforces our commitment to putting the broker first and we very much look forward to his strengthening of our business.”
