Richard Johnson to wear equine insurer's branding during races
Amlin Plus, the bloodstock and equine intermediary of Amlin plc, has signed a sponsorship deal with top jockey Richard Johnson.
The partnership is to start with immediate effect with Johnson wearing Amlin Plus branded sporting gear while on the racecourse.
Johnson has ridden over 1,200 winners in his career to date and has won many events including the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup, Queen Mother Champion Chase and Smurfit Champion Hurdle. Amlin Plus director David Ashby said: "Richard is a fantastic ambassador in racing and we acknowledge his sporting talents to be of the highest calibre. Together with our other sponsored jockeys, Richard Quinn and Andrew Thornton, we have a great marketing platform to expand our name across the equine industry."
