AM Best has affirmed the A (excellent) financial strength rating of London Life and General Reinsurance Company (LLGRC), Ireland, a subsidiary of London Reinsurance Group.
It said the rating outlook was stable.
The ratings agency said the rating reflected the company’s excellent capitalisation and very good financial performance.
An offsetting factor in the rating was the significant fluctuation in premium volumes in recent years, said AM Best.
