Allianz Insurance claims division has announced a number of new staff training initiatives following the appointment of a new training and development manager.
Richard Tricker joins the claims division from Skipton Financial Services, where he was a senior training and development consultant, managing a team of financial advisers and training and development consultants.
Allianz Insurance said it is determined that Excellence in Claims will become the industry model for the development of claims staff. In said that in 2005, further CII accreditations were achieved for the Litigation, Motor, Casualty and Personal Injury modules provided by the Excellence in Claims programme.
During the next few months, the training and development team will be working on a number of new initiatives:
Developing customer service skills training materials to help improve interaction with customers
Improving recruitment and induction procedures to ensure that staff receive the necessary training as soon as possible
Developing training plans with all claims centres to ensure that training is focussed on the right areas, carried out in the right way and is cost-effective.
