Alexander Mack will take up the role on 1 April
Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS) has appointed chief claims officer Alexander Mack to its board.
Mack, who is based in Munich, Germany, and is currently AGCS’s global head of claims, will take up the newly created position on 1 April. He will be responsible for all aspects of AGCS’s claims services worldwide across all its product lines.
ABCS SE’s chief executive Dr Axel Theis said: “Claims service is a core competence for AGCS, and this should be reflected with dedicated representation at board level. Alexander will be a strong advocate for the strategic development of this service that is so important in delivering practical support for our clients at critical times.”
AGCS recently restructured its global claims teams, which was established in 2006 in nine countries and has now expanded to field teams in 28 countries. Each of the company’s regions now has a dedicated regional head of claims with expert teams serving clients in their local markets. In London, AGCS’s regional head of claims is Martin Henson.
