Insurer signs three year deal with broker
Allianz Commercial has secured a three year deal with insurance broker, R A Cowen & Partners, as the principal provider for their SME book of business.
Allianz said the partnership is expected to generate significant premium and it will see the insurer underwrite risks within their small business product range.
The Allianz small business team has already agreed similar tieups with Towergate Northampton and the Purple Partnership this year.
Graeme Durlacher, small business development manager, Allianz Commercial, said: “At Allianz, we are confident that our broad product portfolio, innovative solutions and value added offerings provide a marketleading small business proposition.
"Despite strong competition, our tender was successful as we were able to respond to the needs of the broker, producing a tailored three year deal. Our position of financial strength, allied to our commitment to service, makes us a partner to do business with.”
Paul Chaplin and Stuart Williams, directors, R A Cowen & Partners Ltd, commented: ”We are delighted to have secured this arrangement with Allianz Commercial. We are confident that this development ensures we are able to provide our clients with access to the best possible small business products and service levels in the market.”
