Long-term deal signed with business integration provider, Kewill
Allianz has entered into a deal to host and manage a new electronic trading platform within its personal lines division via Kewill Insurance Xchange (KIX).
Following a two year review of its electronic trading platforms, Allianz Personal is to introduce this new communication platform to deliver the benefits of straight-through processing to its entire network of brokers and intermediaries.
KIX will enable Allianz to electronically communicate with its distribution channel by providing a single communication platform supporting modern connectivity routes such as AS2.
Allianz implemented KIX within its personal lines business partner community at the end of last month. A full roll out to all partners will be completed within three months.
Julie Cutmore, Electronic Trading Manager for Allianz Personal comments: “During our technology review various avenues were explored. Kewill’s knowledge of the insurance market and their understanding of our own specific needs combined with their ability to simplify and improve our communication platforms was the deciding factor. Kewill are highly credible and were our partner of choice.”
Jacquie Boast, Chief Marketing Officer and COO Kewill Business Integration said: “Allianz is a significant addition to the KIX community. We look forward to a long term relationship where we support Allianz’s competitive advantage through increased operational efficiencies using a simplified and improved communication platform.”
