Alexander Forbes has enhanced its professional indemnity (PI) scheme for accountants.
The enhanced scheme will be available to members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
The enhancements include:
• Reduced insurance rates for both new and renewed policies
• No excess for small practices with fee income below £250,000 and a clean claims record
• Reduced excess from 0.75% to 0.5% of fee income for practices with fee income above £250,000
• Improved terms for referral business.
Mark Bracher, director of Alexander Forbes Professions, commented: “Professional indemnity insurance represents a significant expense to accountants and selecting the right scheme is an essential ingredient of running a successful practice. We have designed the ACCA scheme to provide the highest standards of cover and advice, and have a dedicated claims management service to provide a personalised management service in the event of a claim.”
