Loss adjusters Cunningham Lindsey have dispatched a team to assess a major earthquake in Peru over the weekend that left 10,000 people homeless.
Hugh Gallagher, from the firm's Columbia office, said it would be some time before the extent of insurers' exposure became clear, as claims notification had been hampered because of the loss of life and devastation to property.
