Acumus Insurance Solutions is to make its online trading portal for let property cover available to brokers to use through their own websites

The service, to be offered on a white-labelled basis, will go live in the final quarter of the year.

The move is expected to play a significant part in the growth of the company's let property business.

Acumus is aiming to increase its gross written premium (GWP) for let property business from less than £500,000 in 2006 to £8m this year. Approximately 20% will come from brokers' online sales.

The company invested £500,000 to launch its online product for the let property market in August last year.

The white-label site will also be available for Acumus's travel product.

John Bibby, Acumus managing director, said: "Firms able to generate premium income in excess of £100,000 within a 12-month period can use the white label free. Those with lower income can use the Acumus label at no cost."

Bibby projected that 10% of its brokers partners were initially expected to begin selling Acumus products online.
