Barnett Waddingham takes Heath from S&P
Actuary Barnett Waddingham has appointed Cameron Heath to lead the expansion of its Solvency II offering within its insurance consulting practice.
Heath will be responsible for developing Barnett Waddingham’s Solvency II services, with a focus on model validation, reinsurance and investment strategy reviews to the UK and international general insurance market.
He has joined from Standard & Poor’s, where he was the global head of non-life reserving and the european head of insurance linked securities.
Barnett Waddingham partner John O’Neill said: “Solvency II has become an increasingly important growth area for our business, therefore Cameron’s appointment to our team and his experience in the insurance industry positions him excellently to lead the extension of our Solvency II range.”
