Heath Lambert has countered reports of staff departures and attempted takeovers with the publication of a strong trading update.
The broker reported a 33% increase in new business generation year on year, together with considerable revenue growth in areas such as its national division and Heath Lambert consulting.
Following the recent disposal of its overseas operations, the company said it would now renew its focus on UK retail and wholesale operations and further expand the group's regional presence.
The broking group also announced it will bring its national claims handling team back to London. The company's Brentwood office will close and staff are being consulted on transfers.
