1 Answer Network agrees CDL deal

1 Answer Network has entered into a long term contract with insurance sector software specialist Cheshire Data Systems (CDL) to both expand and extend its licence purchasing agreement, as part of its business growth plans.

According to the the personal lines broker network, the move will offer new members looking to join the network, and existing members that are growing their businesses, an affordable route to link to the system.

The CDL access, via 1 Answer Network, provides generic quotation sets based on industry standards for both personal and commercial lines.

Paul Muir, managing director of 1 Answer Network, said: “CDL offers one of the most robust, flexible and easy-to-use systems in the market, which is why we have been working closely with them for a number of years. Importantly, our members say it is a clear differentiator in the high street both for their own businesses and for 1 Answer Network.

“Because CDL is the leading software package it is often thought to be too expensive for the High Street market. The new far-reaching licensing deal we have struck with CDL means brokers who may be dissatisfied with their current provider and software system can now get access to this innovative software on an individual broker basis at costs much lower than they may think possible.”
