Indiscreet rules of rugby tour involving a young Willis broker goes viral
Willis is investigating an email involving a young broker’s rules of engagement for a March rugby tour of Dubai.
The email went viral after its cheeky contents caused amusement among recipients.
The broker, and his three friends, call themselves G4. The email boasts of their “capability to dominate social, political and economical spheres”
The Willis broker is described “a remarkably good looking individual who is permanently tanned and has an extremely muscular body”.
Instructions for their trip stated:
• Cheating is allowed;
• No anti-lad behaviour allowed (i.e. calling girlfriends, being nice to random expats);
• Chants about your surrounding environment, being oily and how rich we are, are compulsory;
• Mentioning of parents’ salaries once a day;
• Public school boy 10 minutes (collars must be up) at specified 10 minutes part the hour.
The Telegraph says the three other friends are a banker from Barclays Wealth, a Clifford Chance lawyer and a ship broker for Arrow.
Willis is understood to be investigating the incident.
The email is the second one to go viral from the UK insurance world within a year. Last year a broker from Miller was at the centre of a sexist email blunder.
