Ex-Heath Lambert boss joins and CCV chief promoted

Mark Hodges chief executive of Towergate

Towergate chief executive Mark Hodges has completed a management shakeup at the consolidator, making three senior role changes.

Hodges has appointed:

  • Graham Barr as CCV chief operating officer
  • Promoted CCV chief executive Michael Rea to head up Towergate Retail and Towergate Financial
  • Promoted former retail chief executive Jonathan Walker to integration director, working closely with Rea

Barr was previously Heath Lambert products and markets managing director, and left the broker last month.

Insurance Times understands that Barr will have a major role in running CCV, though Rea will still oversee the business.

Hodges has also created a group HR director position, which has not been filled yet.

Insurance Times understands that Towergate is looking externally for candidates, and that the current group head of HR, Fiona Andrews, will remain in her role.
