Chief executive David Newman to speak on Biba 2012 panel
Specialist motorcycle and classic car broker Carole Nash has joined Biba.
In addition, Carole Nash chief executive David Newman will speak on a panel at Biba’s 2012 annual conference in Manchester, discussing the profitability of motor insurance. The session will be chaired by the business correspondent of Radio 4’s Today programme, Simon Jack.
“We are pleased to join BIBA,” Newman said in a statement. “It’s good to be involved in the wider issues affecting our sector and have a strong voice for insurance brokers with opinion formers and government.”
Biba head of membership Kirsty Wingrove added: “We are delighted to welcome Carole Nash as members of Biba and look forward to working closely with them in the future.”
Carole Nash’s ultimate parent is French insurance group Groupama. The broker, along with sister companies Bollington, Lark and insurer Groupama Insurance Company Ltd are in the process of being sold by their French parent.
