Danny Walkinshaw introduces BIBAvision
Here we go again. Doesn’t Biba come around quick? This will be my fourth Biba conference and I’m predicting that this year will outstrip them all.
With less than five weeks until it all kicks off in Manchester, you’ve come to the right place.
BIBAvision will keep you informed and entertained before, during and after the conference.
On the site at the moment, we’ve got blogs from the Biba team, including Steve White and Graeme Trudgill.
Biba chief executive Eric Galbraith tells us about Biba 2011 and his favourite Biba memory in our first BIBAvision video.
Our Biba broker Q&A includes Towergate Underwriting chief executive Clive Nathan and Broker Network and Countrywide managing director Nick Houghton – check them out – if only for the humour.
Vote in our poll – aptly named the Biba Broker Barometer. This week we’re asking how the mood in the broker market has changed in the last year?
So, back to Manchester we go. 2009 at the Manchester Central was my personal favourite out of the three I’ve attended. Brokers also tell me it had a certain buzz about it that had not been felt at a Biba conference for quite some time.
Manchester was also the venue for my Biba conference lowlight: losing five consecutive games of Wii tennis (I've been practising for this year).
My Biba highlight has to be stopping Bob Geldof outside of the SECC in Glasgow for the most intense two-minute interview I’ve ever performed. I wonder what my chances are of catching Lord Sugar this year?
