Chaucer takes on Tim Carroll

Chaucer has named of Tim Carroll as a non-executive director of Chaucer Syndicates (CSL), its managing agency and main operating company. He also joins the risk and capital committee and underwriting board.

Carroll has been CEO of Swiss Re's UK holding company, CEO Europe of GE Insurance Solutions and US President and CEO of GE Reinsurance. He has been President of the Insurance Institute of London and current Project Sponsor and Chairman of the steering group for the London Market's 'Future Process' project. He received the Chartered Insurance Institute's medal for distinguished service in 2008.
