Former Kwik Fit MD Devine handed new Ageas UK retail role
Ageas UK has completed a management restructure of its retail businesses - Kwik Fit Financial Services, RIAS and Ageas Insurance Solutions.
Ageas retail managing director Andy Watson will continue to lead the insurer's retail strategy following a number of senior appointments.
Brendan Devine, previously managing director of Kwik Fit Financial Services, has been appointed to the newly created role of retail commercial director.
Devine will be responsible for retail commercial development and for supporting and managing Ageas UK’s retail insurer, aggregator and affinity partner relationships.
A team is set to be appointed to support Devine.
June Lynch has been promoted to the position of managing director, Kwik Fit Financial Services.
Lynch has been finance director with the company for 11 years. She will be responsible for leading and developing the Kwik Fit Financial Services business which includes Kwik Fit Insurance, Express Insurance and The Green Insurance Company and the executive team will report into her.
Jason Banwell will step up to the managing director role at Ageas Insurance Solutions, having previously been finance and operations director at its Stoke-on-Trent site for five years.
Banwell will lead the management team at Ageas Insurance Solutions who will report into him.
Janet Connor remains managing director of RIAS, Ageas UK’s retail over 50s insurance business.

It also demonstrates the considerable depth of talent we have in our management team to promote people of such high calibre into these roles.”
Andy Watson added: “Ageas UK Retail goes from strength to strength and the new appointments will support our continuing growth."
