Bradley Brandon-Cross was appointed managing director of GEFI in January 1999.

Before his appointment he was responsible for the growth of GE Insurance's international operations, which now span 14 countries across Europe and Asia. Following this successful period, he went on to head strategic planning, and the mergers and acquisitions unit within GEFI.

He originally joined GE Capital in 1994 following the acquisition of Consolidated Financial Insurance Group where he was responsible for European operations
